The inspiration behind this design comes from the struggle of modern society to balance work and rest, often leading to a reversed circadian rhythm that affects bodily functions. Drawing from the traditional "Twelve Hours' Regimen," the team has modernized the understanding of organ functions, making the past serve the present. This design, combined with Chinese regimen information, clearly illustrates the functions of organs and their correlation with time, providing information on correct behaviors and guiding today's sub-healthy individuals to arrange their meals, clothing, housing, and transportation reasonably.
The design's unique properties lie in its relevance to current societal issues. The recent pandemic has significantly impacted daily lives, prompting a reevaluation of lifestyle choices. "Staying healthy" has become a prevalent topic, and this design seeks to explore how design can reconstruct our lifestyle. The "Daily Regimen in Twelve Dual Hours" stands as a testament to this exploration.
The realization of this design was a process that required a deep understanding of both traditional regimen and modern lifestyle needs. The design was completed in September 2020 at the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and was later exhibited at the Wuhan Academy of Fine Arts in China's Hubei Province in October 2020.
The design's success is reflected in its recognition by the prestigious A' Design Award, where it was awarded Silver in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category in 2021. This award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation. The "Daily Regimen in Twelve Dual Hours" design, admired for its strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, showcases a remarkable level of excellence and introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
In conclusion, Lu Zhao and his team's "Daily Regimen In 12 Dual Hours" design is a unique blend of traditional health wisdom and modern design techniques. It serves as a guide for individuals to lead a balanced and healthy lifestyle, making it a deserving winner of the prestigious A' Design Award.
