Luxuriate: A Captivating Ring Inspired by Nature

The Luxuriate ring, designed by Masoud Serati Nouri, is a stunning piece of jewelry that draws inspiration from the wonders of nature. What sets Luxuriate apart is its unique feature of protrusion strands that emerge from within the ring. These strands gracefully extend from the gap created on the body of the ring, moving along its wavy surface. The realization of Luxuriate involves a combination of cutting-edge technology and traditional craftsmanship. The design is first modeled using matrix and ZBrush software, then brought to life through 3D printing and direct casting. The final touches, including the placement and adjustment of the strands and stones, are meticulously done by hand, adding a personal touch to each piece.

Technical specifications of Luxuriate include a shank that can be customized to any size, gradually increasing in width from 5mm at the base to 13mm at the top. The strands start from the inside of the ring, extending beyond its circumference by about one centimeter. This thoughtful design ensures a comfortable fit while maintaining the visual impact of the protruding strands.

Interacting with Luxuriate is an experience in itself. The ability to adjust the placement of the strands allows users to create their desired visual effect, further enhancing their connection with the piece as a part of nature. The creation of Luxuriate was a labor of love that began in early April 2021 and was completed in May 2021 in Tabriz, Iran. Nouri's research on plant growth and his deep immersion in nature served as the foundation for this design. The ring's theatrical narrative, depicting the movement and growth of a plant, aims to reconnect individuals with the beauty and power of nature.

Luxuriate has received recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Jewelry, Eyewear, and Watch Design category in 2022.
