Anastasia Kucherenko, a graduate of the British Higher School of Design, was inspired by the power and resilience of women. She believes that women possess a unique ability to understand the fragility of the world and the fleeting nature of happiness. This understanding, she feels, gives women the ability to solve problems peacefully and maintain balance in the world. This belief is the driving force behind her collection.
The Force brooches are handcrafted from white English porcelain Parian, silver, Swarovski pearls, and semi-precious stones. Each flower has a unique design and shape of petals, making each brooch a one-of-a-kind piece. The brooches are not just pieces of jewelry, but also messengers carrying a powerful social message against violence.
The collection includes three lines: Force Limited, Force World, and Force Exclusive. The Force Exclusive line allows customers to let their imagination run free and create a personalized brooch with their chosen materials. This interactive design process is a testament to Kucherenko's commitment to individuality and personal expression.
The project started in June 2016 in Moscow and was awarded the highest score by the graduation jury at the British Higher School of Design. Since then, the brooches have been showcased in the Historical Museum of Russia in 2017 and participated in a number of charity projects. The collection has also been recognized with a Silver A' Jewelry, Eyewear and Watch Design Award in 2019, a testament to its outstanding design and innovation.
Despite the challenges of addressing the issue of violence through jewelry, Kucherenko has managed to create a collection that speaks volumes. The Force brooches are a powerful statement that violence can be overcome through beauty, art, and unity. As Kucherenko herself puts it, "People wear Force brooches, because they want to say 'yes' to the solution of the problem of violence and unite to maintain balance in the world through beauty and art."
