AI Track of Go 2.0 is a unique and captivating digital art performance that brings together the rich heritage of Chinese culture and the most advanced technology. Developed by Tencent Games, this performance utilizes AI Fine Art and holographic technology to create a mesmerizing experience. It seamlessly combines traditional Chinese culture with modern digital technology, resulting in a harmonious interplay of artistic aesthetics and competitive strategies.

The performance features dancers interacting with artificial intelligence systems on a stage that cleverly incorporates both real and imaginary board forms. The use of holographic projection and innovative technology creates a dynamic and immersive environment, transporting the audience into a world where art and technology intertwine.

The technology behind AI Track of Go 2.0 includes a holographic projection box, projection net curtain, projector, and fusion system. These elements work together to create a visually stunning and interactive experience for the audience.

AI Track of Go 2.0 offers two modes: performance mode and photo mode. In performance mode, approximately 20 people can watch the dance performance simultaneously, while in photo mode, about 25 people can experience the holographic box and take memorable pictures.

The complete experience lasts three minutes, with the dance performance itself lasting two and a half minutes. The performance takes the audience on a journey from traditional Chinese landscape paintings to the astral universe, from technical tools to human philosophies, and finally into the algorithmic world and digital civilization. It seamlessly blends traditional elements with modern technology, creating a captivating transformation from the traditional to the technological universe.

AI Track of Go 2.0 was realized in November 2020 at Wanlv Park in Haikou, Hainan Province, China. The design team, led by Blackbow, collaborated with a diverse group of professionals including visual designers, video producers, space designers, technology developers, choreographers, musicians, dancers, and photographers to bring this innovative performance to life.

This groundbreaking design has received recognition and acclaim, winning the Bronze A' Design Award in the Performing Arts, Stage, Style, and Scenery Design category in 2022. The award recognizes designs that demonstrate outstanding creativity, technical skill, and resourcefulness, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
