Hui International: Redefining Elite Living in Shenzhen

A Fusion of Nature and Shanghai Style

With an interior design area of 13,000 square meters, Hui International stands as a landmark in the international city of Shenzhen. The design team, led by Creative Director Pan Hua and Design Director Pan Wei, sought to integrate the unique natural coastline landscape of western Shenzhen with a futuristic living experience. The result is a space that seamlessly blends the beauty of nature with modern design.

The design concept of Hui International revolves around the idea of an "elite life." The space is laid out with alternating arrangements of blue sands and retro copper, creating a clean and tidy aesthetic. The marble surfaces feature freehand winding lines reminiscent of flowing sea ripples, evoking a romantic atmosphere and paying homage to the unique coastline city memory of Shekou, Shenzhen.

One of the notable challenges in the design process was incorporating the developer's brand symbol, the Maple Leaf. Countless iterations were made to perfect the shape, texture, size, and proportion of the Maple Leaf Totem, resulting in a unique memory symbol that brings natural life to the space.

Through vivid coloring techniques, Hui International enhances the interaction and fusion of the object-image landscape and the mind-inspiring officer. The use of high-grade gray, white, and partially embellished orange and purple creates a dynamic and static interplay of light and dark, enriching the emotional experience of the space. This color scheme activates the temperature and emotional interaction of the space, resonating with the ideal life blueprint of color and emotion.

The Hui International project was launched in December 2018 and is set to be completed in November 2020. By embracing the natural scenery of mountains and seas in Shenzhen and combining it with international art, Hui International offers a new urban living lifestyle for the new middle-class elites. The design has been recognized for its excellence, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022.

With its fusion of nature and Shanghai style, Hui International sets a new standard for elite living in Shenzhen. The project showcases the creativity and resourcefulness of Pan Hua and the design team, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology.
