Residential Apartment Designed by Chih Chieh Tien

In the house with the modern and simple facade, the delicate layouts and detailed designs conform divergent characteristics. For the house owners' needs, the house originally had four bedrooms but is currently overhauled into a home with two master bedrooms, a dressing room, study room, and bar counter, all of which encompass a simple style with sophisticated lines.

The divergent materials used in the construction of this house include iron pieces, aluminum frame glass doors, painted veneers, stones, system boards, ultra wear-resistant wood floors, and dimmable recessed ceiling lamps. The house is constructed with green building materials, allowing abundant daylight to reduce the need for artificial lights, keeping the indoor space bright, saving energy, reducing carbon emissions, and preserving an environmentally friendly world for future generations.

The apartment spans 125.6 square meters and is located in Taipei, Taiwan. The design project was completed in December 2019.

When the design project began, the living room had columns and beams on the wall behind the sofa and along the hallway. Additionally, the traffic flows of the previous bar counter and study room were confined, but with the addition of a dressing room, these limitations were overcome.

The house's modern and simple facade is complemented by delicate layouts and detailed designs that conform to divergent characteristics. The simple style with sophisticated lines integrates and converts the homeowner's needs into a charming home with pure details of nature.

This design was awarded Bronze in the A' Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design Award in 2020. The Bronze A' Design Award is bestowed upon outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that authenticate experience and resourcefulness. Esteemed for incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology, they exhibit strong technical and creative skills and contribute to quality of life improvements, making the world a better place.
