The world's leading pneumatic nail-driver manufacturer sought to revamp their office space, and He-Yun Lu rose to the challenge, crafting a dual-level design that speaks volumes about the company's heritage and its forward-looking ethos. The fourth floor's conference room exudes a sense of steadfast reliability through its use of solid textured wood grain, while the fifth floor bursts with a fresh and lively ambiance, offering a high-quality workplace that beckons the younger generation.
He-Yun Lu's design philosophy for "Prosperity" is rooted in minimalism and functionality. On the fourth floor, Japanese wood grain and color transitions are strategically employed to project a powerful corporate image, while the fifth floor's design continuity introduces curves that symbolize the company's dynamic spirit. The design's strength lies in its ability to attract and retain young talent, showcasing the company's commitment to innovation and growth.
The realization of "Prosperity" involved a meticulous selection of materials, including F3 fire-resistant grade building materials and eco-friendly options like Bolon carpets and latex paint. The Bolon carpets, chosen for their durability and environmental friendliness, are a highlight in both the conference room and office areas, offering waterproof, mold-resistant, and flame-retardant qualities that align with the project's sustainability goals.
Spanning approximately 462.8 square meters across two floors, the renovation project embraced a contemporary color palette and an open-plan layout to maximize space and light. The fourth floor serves as a sophisticated client reception area, while the fifth floor is thoughtfully segmented into an office, conference room, pantry, sitting area, and lounge, each designed to foster collaboration and relaxation.
Post-renovation, the client's initial reservations about the style transition were completely alleviated, with the new office earning high praise. The fifth floor's seating area, positioned to offer panoramic views, and the bar area, designed for staff comfort, are standout features. The lounge, equipped with sofas and coffee tables, doubles as a casual meeting space, epitomizing the design's versatility.
Embarking on the project in May 2022 in Taiwan, He-Yun Lu faced the challenge of aligning the design team's vision with the owner's multifaceted ideas. Through persistent dialogue and collaboration, the team successfully integrated the owner's concepts with their design expertise, culminating in an office that symbolizes the seamless integration of the company's legacy with its progressive future.
He-Yun Lu's "Prosperity" design not only rejuvenated the office environment but also encapsulated the essence of the company's evolution. The use of flexible LED light strips and glass partitions in place of traditional materials reflects a commitment to openness and collective unity. This innovative approach has earned "Prosperity" the prestigious Bronze A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2024, recognizing its exceptional contribution to enhancing quality of life and advancing design excellence.
