Revolutionary Self-Cleaning Mop Bucket Saves Water and Effort

A Game-Changing Solution for Efficient and Sustainable Cleaning

The Green Caddy, designed by Chang Hsin Wu, is a self-cleaning mop bucket that revolutionizes the way we clean our homes. With its unique structure and advanced filter design, this innovative product requires only 2.5 liters of water, eliminating the need for constant refills and reducing water waste. By enabling users to rinse and clean their mop with recycled clean water, the Green Caddy not only saves time and effort but also promotes sustainability in household cleaning.

The Green Caddy stands out from traditional mop buckets with its patented technique of clean-and-dirty water separation and an advanced decontamination cycle function. Equipped with a filter that can process over 800ml of water per minute, this bucket effectively removes germs, microplastics, and substances larger than 1000 nanometers. With a sanitization rate of 99%, the Green Caddy surpasses the general drinking water bacteria count standard. What's more, the filter can be used repeatedly for up to one year without the need for replacements, making it a cost-effective and eco-friendly choice.

The key to the Green Caddy's efficiency lies in its Pressure-Less Large-Flux Hollowed Fiber Membrane Filter. Made of PP materials, the bucket is durable and resistant to acid and alkali. The hollowed fiber membrane filter, commonly used in water cleaners and medical equipment, ensures excellent filtering performance and can withstand pH levels ranging from 2 to 14. This makes it ideal for environmental-cleaning applications, reducing water resource consumption and filtering out impurities effectively.

Measuring at 33.5 by 34.8 by 32.4 centimeters, the Green Caddy features an inclined surface design that allows dirty water to gather quickly, creating a liquid-level difference. The 3D squeegee design aids in the removal of hairs and non-liquid particles, enhancing the filter's efficiency. Additionally, users can add a third-party detergent to the water purification bucket, which can be reused, further optimizing the cleaning process.

Operating the Green Caddy is simple and intuitive. The bucket is paired with a hand-pressuring mop handle and utilizes a centrifugal method for washing and drying. A water-drawing center post in the middle of the bucket enables users to switch seamlessly between the rinse and spin-dry functions by manipulating the mop handle. The filter can be easily cleaned by removing it from the bucket and rinsing it under the faucet. With its user-friendly design and efficient cleaning capabilities, the Green Caddy is a game-changer in the world of household cleaning.

The Green Caddy project, led by Chang Hsin Wu and Chien-Chin Chou, began in September 2019 and was completed in November 2021 in Taiwan. Extensive research and experimentation were conducted to develop the perfect filter material, resulting in the discovery of the hollowed fiber membrane. Overcoming various challenges, the design team modified the overall design and adjusted the membrane ingredients to create a self-cleaning bucket that purifies pollutants, germs, and microplastics effectively, without the need for additional water pressure or electricity.

The Green Caddy has been recognized for its outstanding design and sustainability features. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Sustainable Products, Projects, and Green Design category in 2022. This prestigious accolade is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Green Caddy's integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and contribution to a better world make it a deserving recipient of this esteemed award.

The Revolutionary Self-Cleaning Mop Bucket, with its water-saving and time-saving capabilities, is set to transform the way we clean our homes. By combining efficiency, sustainability, and user-friendly design, the Green Caddy offers a practical solution for a cleaner and greener future.
