With its unique design, The Swing Chair stands out from other seating options. It responds to the movements of the human body, allowing users to relax and play. The seat and backrest are flexible and adjustable, accommodating users' preferred sitting positions and adapting to their movements while sitting.

The Swing Chair features a minimal structure, with a seat and backrest supported by a simple frame measuring 61x61x61cm. This design choice gives the chair a floating appearance and makes it lightweight. The use of Oak wood for the structure, plywood for the seat and backrest, cotton cord for the swing, and rubber screws to connect the backrest ensures both durability and comfort.

One of the main challenges in creating The Swing Chair was finding the right balance of movement. Too much movement would risk users falling off the chair, while too little would diminish the playful experience. The designer overcame this challenge by using a thick cotton cord with a rough texture, creating friction with the wood. This allows the seat to create controlled and safe movements.

Designed and produced in Copenhagen in 2017, The Swing Chair took approximately two months to complete. Its adjustable seat and backrest, with an angle range of 120 to 133 degrees, provide users with a customizable sitting experience.

The Swing Chair has been recognized for its innovative design, winning the Iron A' Furniture Design Award in 2022. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
