Ulukan's inspiration for Sofa came from a desire to meet the growing needs of customers in the cordless mini vacuum cleaner market. She envisioned a compact cleaner with a large dust capacity and long runtime. The result is a product that combines geometric lines and elegant details, such as hot foil layered parts and chrome-look lines, giving the product a distinguished and sturdy look at an affordable cost. The texture on the handle area provides a smooth feeling, making it a product that customers would want to keep on their counter when placed on the charging unit.

What sets Sofa apart from other vacuum cleaners is its unique combination of style and power. It boasts a 115Watt digital motor, a 10.8 V Lithium-ion battery, a 25-minute continuous runtime, a 200 ml dust pick-up capacity, and a Hepa plus metal filter combination. Ulukan has also made a significant contribution to environmental sustainability with Sofa. All of the non-transparent plastic parts of Sofa are made with recycled material. However, these parts are designed to be covered with hot foil from the beginning, ensuring that the surfaces do not have the defects created by the recycled material. The Sofa is not just about looks; it's also about performance. It provides 25 minutes of continuous runtime and has a 200 ml dust collection volume. The design process for Sofa was not without its challenges. The goal was to create a compact product that could be used daily and have the largest dust pick-up volume in the market. This required fitting a high-efficiency 115Watt Bldc motor and three batteries with many cables, PCB, noise cancellation sponges, and connectors in a limited space. Despite these challenges, Ulukan managed to design a product that not only meets these requirements but also looks stylish and sophisticated.
