GS-X One stands out from other food delivery robots with its unique ascending stepped structure. This design not only ensures stability but also maximizes the use of vertical space, making it convenient for users to put and take serving trays. The robot's sleek and modern appearance adds a touch of sophistication to any restaurant environment.
One of the key strengths of GS-X One is its ability to connect to the smart service system of restaurants. Equipped with dual positioning cameras at the top and bottom, the robot can quickly perceive its environment and plan optimal paths for contactless delivery. This feature allows for efficient and accurate navigation, ensuring that orders are delivered promptly and without any human contact.
GS-X One goes beyond traditional food delivery robots by offering additional functionalities that enhance the overall dining experience. The robot is equipped with a temperature measurement feature, which plays a crucial role in epidemic prevention and control. By detecting potential pandemic threats in real time, GS-X One contributes to creating a safe and hygienic dining environment.
The design and realization of GS-X One showcase the integration of cutting-edge technologies and high-quality materials. The robot's shell is made using PC/ABS injection molding, while the surface features particle coating techniques in silver, gradient color, and black, as well as electroplating in champagne gold. The serving trays have undergone aluminum oxidation and are covered with a bacteriostatic non-slip pad. The framework of the robot utilizes aluminum extrusion molding with stamping, and the base is supported by a stainless steel frame, ensuring durability and stability.
GS-X One's technical specifications of 1250mm x 484mm x 520mm make it suitable for various restaurant environments, allowing it to navigate through tight spaces and deliver orders efficiently.
With its advanced sensors and cameras, GS-X One can accurately navigate and plan routes to avoid obstacles and people, ensuring stable unmanned delivery. The robot can even take the elevator to deliver food across multiple floors, further expanding its capabilities. Additionally, the robot's workstation enables round-the-clock unmanned services by autonomously recharging its battery when in low power.
The development of GS-X One was driven by the increasing demand for food delivery services and the need for contactless delivery in the face of the ongoing pandemic. By automating the food delivery process, GS-X One helps to address the shortage of food service staff and reduces the costs associated with manual delivery. It also aligns with the growing trend of smart restaurants, where autonomous food delivery is becoming the norm.
The GS-X One design project began in April 2021 in Shanghai and is set to be introduced to the Chinese market in March 2022. Its innovative features and exceptional design have already been recognized, as GS-X One was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Robotics, Automaton, and Automation Design in 2022. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the outstanding creativity and ingenuity of the design, as well as its contribution to improving the quality of life.
GS-X One is poised to revolutionize the food service industry with its advanced technology, contactless delivery capabilities, and sleek design. As the demand for efficient and safe food delivery continues to grow, GS-X One sets a new standard for excellence in the field of robotics and automation.
