En Ke's Packaging Design Advocates for Unity and Supports Childhood Cancer Care

En Ke's award-winning design, "Love is Invisible," is a powerful statement against discrimination and a beacon of support for children battling cancer. This unique packaging design, inspired by Asian culture and the concept of 'water tolerance', carries a profound message of love and unity.

Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, the United States witnessed an unfortunate rise in discrimination against Asians. En Ke, a seasoned designer, decided to combat this issue through a unique design project, "Love is Invisible." The design is based on the Asian cultural concept of 'water tolerance,' signifying that love, like water, is invisible yet powerful enough to eliminate barriers and discrimination.

The "Love is Invisible" project is a public welfare activity launched by the Super Joey Foundation in nearly 20 cities across the United States in 2022. The foundation, dedicated to childhood cancer care, aims to draw attention to this vulnerable group. The Tsddesign team, led by En Ke, created T-shirts and packaging designs to promote this concept during public welfare activities. Young volunteers of different races and skin colors across the United States donned these products, spreading the message of love and unity.

The design realization technology involved cylindrical paper outer packaging and pure cotton clothing. The outer packaging specifications were a cylinder with a diameter of 12cm and a height of 25cm. The design featured unique water patterns from Asian culture, combined with the artistic expression of blue and white porcelain, to naturally express the English font of "love is invisible."

The design project took place from July to December 2021 in Los Angeles, California. The underlying research focused on finding resonance in Eastern and Western cultures, expressing the universally recognized concept of "love," and studying artistic expression. The design overcame creative, technical, and research challenges to successfully convey its message.

En Ke's design, "Love is Invisible," was awarded Silver in the A' Packaging Design Award in 2022. The award recognizes top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation. The design, admired for its strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, showcases a remarkable level of excellence and introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
