Park Lianhui: A Boutique Hotel Design by Hu Zhang

Unveiling the Dream in the Clouds

Park Lianhui is an interior design case for a boutique hotel, spanning an impressive 4800 square meters. Designed by Hu Zhang, this hotel is located on the 43rd to 46th floor of a high-rise building, offering guests a breathtaking view of the cityscape.

The design of Park Lianhui revolves around the concept of "dream in the clouds." By utilizing the advantages of the building's height, the hotel creates a sense of escape from the bustling city below. Each of the 70 guest rooms features floor-to-ceiling glass windows, providing unobstructed views of the horizon and allowing natural light to flood the space.

The transformation among the three spatial scenes of the lobby, elevator, and guest rooms showcases the hotel's unique strengths. The lobby, with its 70 square meters of indoor space and a towering height of 17 meters, creates a sense of longitudinal stretching. The cylindrical transparent elevator, standing at over 100 meters high, takes guests on a mesmerizing journey from the lobby to their rooms, offering a rapid change in height and landscape along the way.

Through careful scale transformation and rhythm change, Park Lianhui maximizes the advantages of its story height. The hotel's design aims to provide guests with a one-of-a-kind experience, immersing them in a space that is both serene and awe-inspiring.

Completed in October 2021, Park Lianhui is a testament to the innovative and creative approach of Hu Zhang and the design team. The personalized design for this boutique hotel space conveys the theme of "dream in the clouds" through changes in spatial scale, creating a unique and unforgettable atmosphere.

Recognized for its excellence, Park Lianhui was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022.
