The Zodiac Pattered Tea Box Packaging stands out from other tea packaging designs due to its fusion of Chinese Zodiac symbolism and the art of tea. Bo Gou believes that drinking tea is not just a simple act, but a form of mental cultivation that represents a life process and inner stability.

By combining the Zodiac symbols with tea, the design aims to bring more positive perspectives to our lives. Each animal sign in the Chinese Zodiac carries its own unique meaning. For example, the mouse represents wisdom, the ox symbolizes diligence, and the tiger embodies bravery. When wisdom is combined with diligence, or bravery with caution, the Zodiac Pattered Tea Box Packaging encourages us to embrace these qualities and have high expectations for our lives.

The design of the Zodiac Pattered Tea Box Packaging utilizes plate making and printing techniques, as well as a concave-convex process, to create a visually striking and tactile experience. The dimensions of the packaging are 40×6×15cm, providing ample space for storing and displaying tea.

The Zodiac Pattered Tea Box Packaging project began in July 2021 and is set to go on sale in May 2022. Throughout the design process, Bo Gou conducted extensive research on the Chinese Zodiac and its positive meanings. The challenge of combining the rich symbolism of the Zodiac with the art of tea was overcome through careful consideration and creative problem-solving.

The Zodiac Pattered Tea Box Packaging has been recognized for its outstanding design and creativity. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category in 2023. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate exceptional ingenuity and contribute to improving the quality of life through art, science, design, and technology.
