Sun Dachun: Redefining Fashion Retail with Innovative Interior Design

Creating a Space of Imagination and Creativity

Renowned designer Ling Lin has reimagined the retail experience with the stunning interior design of Sun Dachun, a young fashion brand based in China. By integrating space and artistic aesthetics, the project aims to improve the brand's image and create a space that is full of imagination and creativity.

The interior design of Sun Dachun's store is characterized by its unique properties and strengths. Through the use of white artistic paint and black and silver finishes, the space achieves a harmonious unity. The retro and science fiction design elements create a sense of space imagination, while the straight lines and arcs simplify the internal structure, presenting a captivating minimalist shape.

The design team carefully selected materials to enhance the visual impact of the space. The interspersed relationship of the attached masses, strengthened by color, suggests movement and static, creating a dynamic atmosphere. As the lights gradually illuminate the space, the color and texture of the materials change, reflecting the most authentic emotions and inviting visitors to re-examine their own hearts and the surrounding environment.

The interaction within the design is carefully orchestrated to enhance the overall experience. Track spotlights integrated into the ceiling highlight the displayed clothes, while the adjusted angle of light and shadow give rhythm to the space. The saturation of light and the interspersed mirrors create an open and impressive environment, showcasing the best quality of the clothes. The symmetrical shelf extends the customer's vision, and the fitting room is discreetly hidden in the corner. The white paint and layered shapes of the VIP space bring a sense of tranquility to the overall design.

The Sun Dachun store project was completed in 2021 in Jiangsu, China. Extensive research was conducted to ensure that the design aligned with the brand's image and provided customers with an enhanced in-store experience. The challenges of proportion and division were overcome through the use of large futuristic pieces, diffuser light strips, bar chandeliers, and curved walls, resulting in a captivating story of exploration in the unknown.

This exceptional design has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. The award acknowledges the outstanding creativity and resourcefulness demonstrated in the design, as well as its contribution to improving the quality of life. Sun Dachun's innovative interior design sets a new standard for fashion retail, creating a space that is both visually striking and experientially engaging.
