Light Art House: A Symphony of Space and Art

Light Art House, a residential space designed by Haochen Su, is a unique embodiment of art and architecture. Inspired by light and the deconstructive design method, Su has deconstructed space and functional moving lines to create a living masterpiece. The design is adorned with numerous art sculptures, enhancing the artistic atmosphere and truly giving space to life and life to art.

What sets Light Art House apart from other designs is its ability to bring the natural beauty indoors. With elegant and simple light colors as the main tone, the design creates a natural and comfortable field atmosphere. Natural light, in this context, becomes the best feedback. The design encourages its inhabitants to enjoy art and live in art, reflecting the attitude and spirit behind the habitat. It is a design that is rooted in the present but constantly thinking about the future, reengineering the imagination and expression space.

The Light Art House was realized using a variety of materials including volcanic stone, rock board, ceramic tile, copper board, wood finish, and emulsion paint. The project, which spans an area of 1800 square meters, was started in Zhejiang in January 2020 and completed in February 2022. The design process involved a thorough investigation of the site and its relationship with the surrounding environment, followed by the determination of the conceptual scheme, indoor plane scheme, facade space scheme, and facade space effect drawing. The construction drawing was then drawn, leading to the completion of the construction.

Throughout the design process, Su paid attention to the concept of science and technology, innovation, practicality, boldness, and economy. One of the biggest challenges faced during the design process was having a bold and respectful design for the owners and implementing a lot of new ideas. However, the result is a design that integrates the artistic style of magic capital into space, modern architecture and nature, without losing artistic style. The artistic conception of "eliminating complexity and preserving simplicity" and "combining virtual and real" breeds quality cultivation and connotation suitable for the contemporary living environment.

Light Art House is not just a place to live, but a memory of life time. This design was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2023, a testament to its outstanding expertise and innovation. It is a design that introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder, admired for its strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill.
