Bitkey: A Revolutionary Office Design by Canuch Inc.

Winner of A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2023

Canuch Inc. presents Bitkey, an innovative office design that seamlessly integrates technology and space, enhancing brand image and promoting a unique work culture. This design has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2023.

The Bitkey office design is inspired by the services provided by Bitkey Inc., a Tokyo-based company that offers a unique digital key technology platform. The design aims to keep Bitkey's services at the forefront of the workspace. Large curtains hung along circulation routes reflect the colors and intent of Bitkey's products, enhancing the brand image. The office design also includes a distinctive communication lounge that serves as a place to share Bitkey's central message of connection.

What sets Bitkey's office design apart is its integration of the Bitkey logo into the design. The logo, which expresses an infinite world through the combination of simple triangular shapes, informs the design of the office space. The office also features a free address system, with various types of seating available for booking via a smartphone app. The office is equipped with a product development lab where the development team collaborates closely with the sales and support teams.

Canuch Inc. has utilized advanced technology to realize this design. Tenant areas of the building are seamlessly connected to the shared entrance. Visitors and employees can move through the building using facial recognition technology and mobile FeliCa, a contactless communication platform for cell phones. Information about the location of employees in the office, congestion levels in each area, and conference-room use is visually presented on tablets and monitors inside the office.

The project, which started in August 2020 and finished in August 2021, was a collaborative effort. The design team included Yuki Ejiri from Bitkey Inc., Canuch Inc. for interior design, DE-SIGN Inc. for project management, Nomura Co., Ltd. for construction, Universal Engeisha Co., Ltd. for interior landscaping, Keiji Kitada from FDS for lighting, and Bitkey for art design.

The design faced several challenges, including the need to eliminate divisions between teams and encourage collaboration. This was achieved by creating an in-house technology work hub. The design also incorporates a structure of infinite patterns created by stacking transparent logo pattern graphics within the office. This layering is a spatial expression of Bitkey's crossover workstyle, which encourages innovation by overlapping work responsibilities.

In conclusion, Bitkey's office design by Canuch Inc. is a revolutionary approach to workspace design that integrates technology and space to enhance brand image and promote a unique work culture. The design, which has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2023, showcases a remarkable level of excellence and introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
