Chiyan Interior Design's "Time Stamp" stands out with its extension design, which effectively breaks the boundaries between spaces. In the public area, the dining table's platform extends seamlessly into the foyer, creating a connection that blurs the division between these areas. Similarly, the circular platform of the TV wall extends to the window and the study room, further blurring the boundary between the living room and the study. This design approach not only enlarges the space but also allows for more flexibility and freedom in how the rooms are used.
The realization of the "Time Stamp" design is a testament to the expertise and creativity of Chiyan Interior Design. The use of various building materials, such as terrazzo tiles, architectural concrete tiles, artificial stone, and wear-resistant SPC flooring, adds depth and texture to the space. The arcs that connect different materials create a visual flow, while the light and delicate colors are evenly distributed throughout, enhancing the overall ambiance. The combination of terrazzo, architectural concrete, and wood grain flooring adds warmth and character to the design, resulting in a truly expressive and unique space.
This residential project spans 99 square meters and features three bedrooms, a living room, and a dining room. Despite its lower floor position, the space feels spacious and inviting. The design team's emphasis on "no high partition" and "extension" allows for a seamless connection and enlargement of the space, making it suitable for both individuals and groups.
Chiyan Interior Design's "Time Stamp" is a testament to the power of design to create functional and comfortable spaces. Each area, from the foyer to the living room, dining room, and study room, is thoughtfully designed to meet the needs and habits of the client's family. The large dining table encourages interaction and gathering, while the window-side platform in the living/study room provides a cozy spot for relaxation and conversation. The design truly prioritizes the comfort and enjoyment of the residents.
The "Time Stamp" project was completed in May 2022 in Taiwan. The design team's research and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of the project. By blurring boundaries, extending visual perspectives, and utilizing the original looks of materials, Chiyan Interior Design has created a space that exudes warmth, happiness, and beauty.
Chiyan Interior Design's "Time Stamp" has been recognized for its outstanding creativity and ingenuity. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2023. This prestigious award honors designs that showcase technical and creative excellence while contributing to quality of life improvements. The "Time Stamp" project is a true testament to the power of design to create memorable and meaningful spaces.
