In response, designer Luo Heng introduces Happy Petty, a groundbreaking pet cat food packaging that combines fashion figures and art to convey the concept of coexistence between humans and pets through design.

Happy Petty is a unique line of pet cat food that merges fashion icons and renowned paintings with pets. The packaging features six distinct character images, each corresponding to different types of cat food. By utilizing various clothing styles, colors, and elements, Happy Petty reflects highly personalized character images and product packaging, catering to the diverse preferences of cat-loving individuals. This innovative approach not only creates a unique fashion brand image but also conveys the aesthetic trend of pets and young people through visual language.

With its vibrant colors and eye-catching design, Happy Petty breaks free from the constraints of traditional pet packaging. The use of bright hues attracts consumers' attention and adds a touch of excitement to the overall product experience. By drawing inspiration from famous painting figures and fashion celebrities, Happy Petty injects a sense of style and sophistication into the pet food industry.

The Happy Petty design team, led by Luo Heng, includes illustrator Li Shuangshuang and Xiao Liping, as well as 3D designers Wan Shiwei and Wang Zhangjian. Their collaborative efforts have resulted in a visually stunning packaging that captures the essence of modern pet ownership.

The project commenced in Shenzhen in June 2021 and was completed in December 2022. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted to ensure that Happy Petty not only met the needs of brand identification but also conveyed the concept of coexistence between humans and pets. Pets bring us not only companionship but also happiness and a healthy life, and the packaging design aims to reflect this harmonious relationship.

Happy Petty's journey was not without its challenges. The design team aimed to break through the traditional pet packaging norms and create a concept of coexistence between modern people and pets. By incorporating elements from famous paintings and fashion icons, they successfully crafted a unique and captivating visual language that resonates with pet owners.

Happy Petty's outstanding design has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category in 2023.
