Innovation Design Studio's Award-Winning Project Redefines the Modern Workplace

The Ark Business District is not just a collection of buildings; it's a thriving ecosystem that represents the evolution, motion, progress, and continuous development of human beings. The design is inspired by the dynamic and movement of buildings, reflecting the spirit of vitality and excitement. It breaks the monotony and boredom of traditional office spaces, encouraging interactions between the inside and outside.

Comprising 11 buildings in total, the district fuses modern functionality with a streamlined design philosophy. It considers the outdoors as part of the workday, introducing outdoor business terraces, open to sky courtyards for penthouse offices, and irregular open spaces. A parking area spread across two levels, along with car drop-off spots available at each building, ensures a smooth journey for all visitors. The commercial and retail area on the ground level offers a dynamic dining and shopping experience, with renowned brands and global cuisines coming together in one lively and bustling space.

Efficiency is at the core of the Ark Business District. The project leverages the latest in property technology applications through a Building Management System (BMS), allowing for various efficiencies and automated facilities. The buildings operate with systems that communicate to deliver data, enabling efficient usage of resources, adjusting cost in real time, and improving the quality of life of the tenants.

The project faced several design challenges, including the level difference within the site and the need for innovative office configurations. The design team overcame these challenges by creating an interesting integrated outdoor space and designing private offices as semi-standalone spaces. These offices offer tenants their own private entrance, cores, reception, and services. Shared creative workspaces provide a change of scenery for meetings, creative brainstorming sessions, or project development sessions.

The Ark Business District is more than a commercial complex; it's a testament to the future of workspaces.
