Jinan Honor: Aedas' Architectural Masterpiece

Blending Tradition and Modernity in High-Rise Design

Unveiling Jinan Honor, a super high-rise development project by Aedas, that seamlessly integrates traditional Chinese architectural elements with modern urban design. This award-winning design is set to redefine the skyline of Jinan city's core business district.

Jinan Honor, designed by Aedas, is a comprehensive development project that stands tall in the CBD of Jinan city. This high-rise marvel, which houses business offices, shopping and entertainment centers, and public leisure spaces, is a testament to the innovative design approach of Aedas. The design inspiration for Jinan Honor comes from the concept of "Town," a reference to ancient Chinese morals. The city of Springs, with its continuous line of water and layers of mountain wonders, is reflected in the architectural design of the building.

The unique properties of Jinan Honor lie in its blend of tradition and modernity. The design incorporates five elements of the "twin-town, gate, roof, water and wall," which are central to the urban evolution of the old Mingfu town's walls, gates, spring waters, and local housing outlines. The result is a modern architectural style that speaks volumes of Chinese tradition while catering to contemporary urban needs.

The realization of Jinan Honor's design is a testament to Aedas' commitment to sustainability. The main tower has been certified with the green building three stars, while the other parts have received the green building two stars. The project meets the requirements of sponge city planning, with a runoff control rate of 75%. The use of green building materials has reached 30%, and the facade is designed with vertical external shading, increasing the thermal performance of the envelope by 10%.

The technical specifications of the design further highlight its uniqueness. The T1 Tower has a floor area of 2000 square meters per floorplate, with a width of 49.4m, depth of 43.6m, and height of 326.1m. The T2 Tower, on the other hand, has a floor area of 1600 square meters per floorplate, with a width of 38.4m, depth of 42.1m, and height of 121.15m. Both towers are structured with a reinforced concrete frame core tube system, and their crowns are space steel structure systems.

Despite the design challenges, Aedas has successfully combined modern office functions with traditional Chinese architectural elements. The design creates an urban public sharing space on the roof of the podium building, directly connected to the commercial and office towers on both sides. This innovative approach has earned Jinan Honor the prestigious Silver A' Construction and Real Estate Projects Design Award in 2020.

In conclusion, Jinan Honor, with its blend of tradition and modernity, is set to redefine the architectural landscape of Jinan city. This super high-rise development project, designed by Aedas, is a testament to the power of innovative design and sustainable architecture. It is a shining example of how architecture can reflect the past while shaping the future.
