Corporate Identity Design by Ruud Winder - Rebrandt

Suicide is the number 1 cause of death among young people in the Netherlands. Rogier Hulst, a valued colleague and friend of the design team, passed away much too young. His mother founded 'Roger That' to offer other young people the opportunity to receive shelter, a listening ear, and coaching. As a young designer, Rogier had a unique logo. Since Roger That originated from the death of Rogier Hulst, the agency wanted the design to stem from his design.

Based on the typical R-logo of Rogier van Hulst, the designer made a block system that represents the multi-colouredness and diversity of the youngsters. Which way are you going? What movement is expected of you? The flexibility of the blocks stands for the freedom of moving, a message to all the (young) people; feel free to move to any direction.

For the corporate identity, printwork, street art, and digital materials were used. The design captures the essence of Roger That's mission and vision, while paying homage to Rogier van Hulst's original logo.

This unique corporate identity design by Ruud Winder - Rebrandt is a testament to the agency's commitment to addressing the pressing issue of youth suicide in the Netherlands. By incorporating Rogier van Hulst's original logo, the design not only honors his memory but also serves as a powerful symbol of hope and freedom for young people.
