Springleaf: A Modern and Inviting Residential Space

The Springleaf design, created by renowned designer Gary Ong, is a stunning residential space that combines modern aesthetics with inviting elements. The main objective of the design was to create a spacious and private environment that would allow the owners to host events with comfort and privacy.

One of the unique features of Springleaf is its use of various natural materials. Stones, steel, aluminium, and timber were strategically incorporated into the design to define different functions of the space. This bold characteristic not only adds visual interest but also creates a sense of distinction between different areas.

Spanning across four levels, Springleaf offers a total space of approximately 6900 square feet. The first level comprises the living area, dining area, pool, and kitchen. The second level features the master bedroom, girls' room, and a gym. The third level includes a junior suite and a baby's room. Finally, the fourth level boasts a guest bedroom and an entertainment room, perfect for hosting friends and relatives.

The realization of the Springleaf design involved a year-long renovation and alteration process. Concrete works were carried out to ensure the structural integrity of the space. Large format tiles were meticulously cut to minimize joint lines, resulting in a seamless and visually appealing finish. Additionally, high-quality wallpapers and materials were imported from Japan, Italy, and China to enhance the overall aesthetic.

Springleaf is located in the northern part of Singapore and has garnered significant attention for its unique design. The project took approximately a year to complete, showcasing the dedication and craftsmanship involved in its realization.

This exceptional design has received recognition in the form of the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2023. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that exhibit outstanding creativity and resourcefulness, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology. Springleaf's strong technical and creative skills contribute to quality of life improvements, making it a truly remarkable addition to the world of design.
