Visual Communication Design Transforms Public Spaces

Zhenyu Li's design, titled "Public Space Competition," is a visual communication design of an integrated system. It includes digital media design, poster design, logo design, book design, and digital interaction design. The design was commissioned by a client and is a response to the need for a comprehensive design system that encompasses both online and offline aspects.

The design was created for the first Wuxi "the Taihu Lake Bay Public Space Art and Design Creativity Competition." It included the overall image promotion, logo, video, poster, push publicity design, certificate design, book design, website design, and visual image system design. The design received high social evaluation, highlighting its impact and effectiveness.

The design was realized through digital printing, screen printing, digital interaction, and new media technology. It was a multi-promotion media collaboration, demonstrating the versatility and adaptability of the design. The design was used in subway advertising, television media, school publicity posters, public transport media, news media, and other multi-angle applications, demonstrating its wide reach and impact.

The project was conducted from July to December 2021 in Wuxi, China. It faced challenges due to the limitations of multiple media to the technical requirements of the design. However, these challenges were overcome, resulting in a multi-disciplinary design that effectively promoted the competition.

Zhenyu Li's design is a testament to the power of visual communication design in transforming public spaces.
