RE MAX Daelim's Brochure Kit: A Co-Creation Success

Empowering Realtors with Innovative Sales Tools

In the competitive realm of real estate, RE/MAX Daelim's new brochure kit, co-created with realtors, emerges as a game-changer, fostering client relationships and enhancing sales efficacy.

When RE/MAX Daelim approached Sang Ryu to design a brochure kit for their realtors, the objective was clear: create a tool that not only serves as a medium for information but also as a catalyst for building client relationships and boosting commissions. The collaborative effort between Ryu and approximately 20 realtors resulted in a bilingual, comprehensive brochure kit that goes beyond the conventional. It is a testament to the power of co-design, leveraging the collective experience and expertise of its users to shape its form and function.

The brochure kit stands out with its unique bilingual editions, catering to a diverse clientele across socioeconomic, geographic, and national backgrounds. This inclusivity is not just a feature but a strategic approach to empower realtors with the ability to engage with a wider audience. The branded materials within the kit—brochure and file folder—reflect the franchise's robust brand image and establish the franchisee as a reliable operator in the real estate market.

From a technical standpoint, the design realization of the brochure kit involved meticulous execution. The cover art, featuring the Yeouido cityscape, symbolizes the franchisee's headquarters and serves as a visual anchor for the brand. Inside, the brochure is intuitively navigable, with slogans, maps, and graphic figures guiding readers through the content. The physical aspects of the brochure—saddle-stitching, spot coating, and A4 sizing—complement the design, ensuring durability and a professional finish.

The practical application of the brochure kit extends into the daily operations of RE/MAX Daelim's realtors. It is an essential tool during client consultations, allowing realtors to present their work, achievements, and research efficiently. The English edition, in particular, is invaluable for engaging with international clients, facilitated by the franchise's extensive network and client relationships. The availability of a PDF file further enhances accessibility and convenience.

Launched in South Korea in July 2023, the brochure kit's development spanned from March to June of the same year. It was a concerted effort that involved active participation from the realtors, ensuring that the final product was not only reflective of the brand's ethos but also tailored to the realtors' needs. The design process was underpinned by a deep understanding of the real estate landscape and the specific demands of sales collateral in this sector.

Overcoming challenges such as identifying essential sales collateral and representing realtors as deserving professionals, the brochure kit emerged as a practical and meaningful solution. Its success was recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in 2024, a testament to its design excellence and its contribution to enhancing the quality of life by improving professional practices in the real estate industry.
