Drawing inspiration from the complexity of the raw space, Zhang has crafted a restaurant that is not just a structure but a narrative of artistry and logic.

The restaurant's unique character is defined by its intricate design elements. The red terrazzo staircase, a striking feature near the core of the space, unravels the narrative clues of the design. It is here that space and shadow dance together, breathing life into the environment. The changeful variety within the space unfolds a natural, rustic ambiance that is both quiet and tranquil, inviting guests to a unique dining scene.

Spanning 500 square meters, Shan's Meal is a meticulous composition of volume relationships, color, and catering design. The design incorporates cloud-shaped art installations, lines, and light art, which collectively modernize the traditional oriental connotations while preserving the essence of Chinese artistic conception and spatial control. These elements redefine the modern interior space of the restaurant, infusing it with new meaning for contemporary times.

Located in the bustling Jinshui Flower City of Shenyang, the restaurant opened its doors in May 2023. The design process involved overcoming challenges related to the creation of the overall atmosphere and the treatment of the relationship between indoor structural blocks. The result is a space that not only serves Chinese cuisine but also offers a multisensory experience that engages diners in an artistic journey.
