Each leather piece is carefully cut and adjusted by hand, then sewn together directly on a bust model to ensure a perfect fit. The height of the jewelry ranges from 30 to 40 cms, while the width is designed to be adjustable for all sizes. The armholes are generously sized to accommodate both small and larger frames.

Creating these pieces presented several challenges for Séveine. The first was finding the right quality and thickness of leather that could be worn as clothing. The leather needed to be malleable, easy to cut, and puncture-resistant. Additionally, it had to be the right thickness to complement the metal chains used in the designs. The choice of materials was crucial, as the leather and metal chains needed to create a contrast in tones. Shiny leather is paired with matte and dark chains, while matte leather is paired with shiny chains.
