AS Design Service Limited Transforms Space into a Boutique Hotel-Style Apartment

AS Design Service Limited, under the creative direction of Four Lau and art direction of Sam Sum, has transformed an ordinary residential space into an extraordinary, comfortable, and refined living area. The Fashionable Apartment, located in Hong Kong, is an epitome of their design philosophy that fashion elements should not be limited to clothing only.

The apartment, inspired by the poetic nature of fashion under the sunrise, is a blend of varied lines of fabric and embroidery, warm colors, and a horizontal line that connects the whole house. The golden sun shines on the elegant curvy wall and its golden finishes, adding a softer and a touch of humanity to the stiff walls and cabinets. The corridor wall features a piece of cloth embroidered with irregular nature patterns commonly seen on clothing, creating an artistic atmosphere.

The Master Bedroom, designed to resemble a world-class luxurious hotel, is a dreamy elegance with a thin translucent window screening effect. The decorative motifs screen and the one-piece mirror can be opened or hidden, adding to the room's grandeur. The bedside cabinet, designed as a glass jewelry showcase, displays precious jewelries, reflecting the twinkling and grandeur of the jewelries.

AS Design Service Limited has used materials like golden metallic painting, wooden veneer, marble, clear glass, stainless steel, powder coating metal, and embroidery fabrics to bring this design to life. The apartment, spanning 1507 square feet, was completed in November 2012.

The Fashionable Apartment has been recognized for its outstanding design, winning the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2013. The award is granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom.
