Creating a Well-Balanced Place for Families to Enjoy

The inspiration for the Adagio Townplaza came from a deep understanding of the needs of the people in the area. As part of the larger Towncenter project, this mall was designed to be one of the ten malls that would serve the neighborhood. The design team gathered success stories from other shopping centers and combined these ideas with the specific demands of the community.

What sets the Adagio Townplaza apart from other stripmalls is its dedication to lifestyle. The design aims to create a space where families can come together and enjoy various activities. The main plaza, located on the ground level, serves as the heart of the mall, encouraging interaction and engagement throughout the day. Additionally, the third floor houses a vibrant array of bars and restaurants that come to life from 2 pm until midnight, providing a lively atmosphere for visitors.

One of the key strengths of the Adagio Townplaza is its unique design that maximizes the exposure of individual commercial units. The building's curved appearance ensures that each unit receives optimal visibility, attracting more customers and enhancing the overall shopping experience. With a total area of 16,500 square meters, the mall offers ample space for a diverse range of businesses.

The Adagio Townplaza operates as a lifestyle shopping center, with different themed levels catering to various needs. The first level focuses on family and day commerce, offering a wide range of shops and services. The second level is dedicated to beauty, health, and fashion, providing visitors with a comprehensive selection of wellness and fashion options. Finally, the third level houses a variety of restaurants and a lounge bar, creating a vibrant and social space for dining and entertainment.

The Adagio Townplaza project began in May 2012 and was completed in May 2013. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted to ensure that the mall met all the necessary design, commercial, operational, and financial requirements. The owners collaborated with market research brands and the architectural team to create a product that would truly fulfill the needs of the community.

One of the main challenges faced during the design process was maximizing the leasable square meters while adhering to the architectural requirements. The goal was to create a space that would provide value to both consumers and investors. By carefully optimizing the layout and design, the Adagio Townplaza successfully achieved this objective.
