Chunqing distinguishes itself through its simplicity and continuous shapes that harmonize with its surroundings. The materials used in the design are low in saturation, creating an atmosphere that speaks of restrained beauty, calm elegance, and life within its space. The interior seamlessly responds and harmonizes with the exterior, creating a sense of integrity and continuity.
From an urban landscaping perspective, Chunqing's roof design transforms the shape of the skyline, not only coordinating with its surroundings but also transforming them. The building's organic and natural scene is enhanced by the water surrounding it, which creates a mirroring effect and reflects the lush greens and shrubs that encompass the scenery.
The public facilities within Chunqing include a reception hall, banquet hall, library, community restaurant, gym, reading area, and a pool area with a spa on the top floor. Each space is designed to create a dialogue with the surrounding environment, providing a resting paradise in the midst of the city.
The art pieces that adorn the halls of Chunqing align with the overall concept of the building. The unique wooden furniture itself is a work of art, adding to the aesthetic appeal of the space. The interplay of spaces within the building creates an atmosphere that captivates and engages visitors, making their experience truly memorable.
The project, located in Zhongyang Rd., Xinzhuang Dist., New Taipei City, Taiwan (R.O.C.), began in June 2011. Chunqing has been recognized for its outstanding design and creativity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in 2015 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that exhibit strong technical and creative skills, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
Chunqing is a testament to the power of design in creating spaces that inspire, engage, and transform. With its unique blend of simplicity, elegance, and cultural ambiance, this comfortable resort stands as a true masterpiece in the world of architecture and design.
