With the increasing dominance of visual communication in our society, interior design, architecture, and industrial design are also evolving to incorporate more images and visual elements. The design team at Space Arquitectura recognized this trend and proposed a concept that would spread the ideas of dynamism and movement throughout the company.
The centerpiece of the design is a railroad running through the middle of the floor, symbolizing the constant evolution and progress of CP Group. This design element serves as a visual reminder of the company's commitment to innovation and growth.
To create an architectural balance and enhance visual communication, specialized furniture, graphic arts, and applications by Pentagono Studio were incorporated into the design. Each level of the office space features unique details that reflect the company's business areas, including city, health, and automotive.
Space Arquitectura also prioritized sustainability in the design. The offices feature low energy consumption through lower-than-standard illumination levels, low VOC contents in the products used, and a standardization of materials. This commitment to sustainability ensures that the design not only looks impressive but also operates in an environmentally friendly manner.
The corporate offices of CP Group, located in Terret Building – Polanco, Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, Mexico City, were constructed by GAYA and feature approximately 1570 square meters of space spread across three levels (floors sixteen through eighteen).
By creating a space that promotes balance and quality of life, the design of CP Group's corporate interior aligns with the growing focus on these aspects in organizations worldwide. As society continues to evolve, design will play a crucial role in rethinking how we educate, work, and live.
The CP Group corporate interior design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2015. This prestigious award recognizes designs that demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving quality of life. The design by Juan Carlos Baumgartner and Gabriel Téllez exemplifies these qualities and showcases the potential of design to make a positive impact on the world.
