The inspiration behind the Eden ring came from Sofia Lee's desire to create a ring that is uniquely alluring, feminine, and statement-making, while also incorporating the beauty of Mother Nature. The realization of the Eden ring involved a combination of handmade craftsmanship and modern technology. The basic architecture of the ring was developed using 3D CAD and brought to life through 3D printing. The ring was then created through lost wax casting and laser welding of the overlaying structures to form its unique double layer design. Hand modifications were made to enhance the design, and micro pave setting technology was used to bring the beautiful diamonds and gems together.

The Eden ring is made from 9K rose gold, giving it a warm and luxurious feel. Its dimensions are 21mm in length, 15mm in width, and 24mm in height, making it a substantial and eye-catching piece of jewelry.

Designed to be worn on the index, middle, or ring finger, the Eden ring interacts with light in a mesmerizing way. As light shines through the beautiful and colorful gem combination, it creates a sense of drama and sparkle, making the ring truly come alive.

The Eden ring project was developed in October 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and it took around three months to complete. Throughout the design process, Sofia Lee conducted extensive research on different forms and colors found in nature. The color combination was carefully chosen to achieve a vibrant yet nature-like vibe, and the shape of the ring was designed to complement the square-shaped blue topaz.

Despite the challenges faced during the design process, such as refining the shape and arranging the different colored and sized gemstones for the pave setting, Sofia Lee's dedication and creativity prevailed. The result is a ring that is not only one-of-a-kind but also comfortable to wear.

The Eden ring has received recognition for its outstanding design and innovation. It was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Jewelry, Eyewear, and Watch Design category in 2015. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate exceptional expertise, innovation, and artistic skill.
