A Limited Edition Design Inspired by Extraterrestrial Beings

Alien 3.0 stands out from other designs with its distinctive features and strengths. Limited to only 12 copies, each piece is meticulously crafted with high-glossy lacquered wood, metal, and beveled mirrors. The boudoir table boasts three rotating mirrors, allowing users to catch the best light on their skin and play with the final image of the item. The multiple layers of lacquering add depth to the color and create a brilliant reflection on the surface, enhancing its allure.

Measuring 1400mm in width, 400mm in depth, and 1350mm in height, Alien 3.0 is an impressive example of contemporary design. Its slender legs required careful engineering to ensure stability and balance, overcoming a significant technical challenge.

The Alien 3.0 project began in January 2014 and was first showcased during Milan Design Week later that year. It garnered attention at the 100% Design London exhibition in September 2014. Following its success, a limited edition version with three mirrors was created by order of a French Auction House. In November 2014, the first copy of the limited series was sold at auction in Paris, finding a new home in a private collection.

Ekaterina Elizarova, the designer behind Alien 3.0, drew inspiration from stories about extraterrestrial beings during the creation process. The result is a design that not only captures the essence of these otherworldly creatures but also serves as a striking accent in any interior style.
