Gas Building with a Blend of Tradition and Contemporary Architecture

The concept behind this design is to infuse the building with the soul of tradition while incorporating modern elements. The designers have taken inspiration from traditional architecture, particularly the arabesque patterns of Islamic architecture, and combined it with the general nature of gas refineries.

One of the standout features of this design is the use of surplus gas pipes and light concrete for the façade, which adds a touch of tradition to the building's exterior. The main structures of the building are made of steel, while the façade is composed of concrete, glass, and steel.

The Office Building of Gas Company spans an area of 8340 square meters and houses various facilities, including two elevators, a special restaurant for staff, exhibition space, a meeting hall, and a theater. The combination of traditional and contemporary elements creates a visually striking and functional space.

The building's design is reminiscent of a gas refinery, with the lower part showcasing the image of the city and the upper part reflecting the image of the sky, resembling a torch. This blend of elements from Persian traditional architecture and modern design principles gives the building a unique and captivating appearance.

The Office Building of Gas Company, located in Gazvin, Iran, was started in 2013. Its innovative design and seamless integration of tradition and modernity have earned it recognition and accolades. In 2015, it was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building, and Structure Design category. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial requirements.
