Turkcell Lounge: A Technological and Inviting Venue

Creating a Dynamic and Corporate Space for Events and Meetings

The inspiration for the Turkcell Lounge came from the idea that the venue would be used day and night to host special guests in all events organized in the complex, in addition to the company's corporate promotions, events, and meetings. The design team combined the employer's previous experiences and directions with their creative approach to create a soft, dynamic, and technological venue that reflects the corporate identity of Turkcell.

The Turkcell Lounge is composed of three main areas: the entrance and reception, the entertainment area, and the audience area. The design team specially designed the products used in the project to be components of the venue, adding to its uniqueness. One of the standout features of the lounge is a 4x3 videowall, designed as the reflection of an old TV on the wall, using all screens as a single screen. The audience area is designed to provide utmost comfort to all visitors, with different sized screens placed strategically throughout the space.

In addition to the internal design, the lighting plays an important role in the identity of the Turkcell Lounge. The lighting fixtures in the venue are connected to an electronic lighting control system, allowing for different color and duration options for different purposes. This adds to the overall ambiance and flexibility of the space.

All work on the Turkcell Lounge was performed on-site within a period of two months, in accordance with the weekly plan provided by the building's management. The project was completed in October 2013 and constructed in January 2014.

The Turkcell Lounge has not only met the employer's expectations for alternative uses of the space but has also added value to the international complex in which it is located. Its technological features, inviting atmosphere, and contemporary design make it a standout venue for corporate meetings, promotions, and events.

Awards and Accolades: The Turkcell Lounge was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2015 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award recognizes the outstanding expertise, innovation, and excellence demonstrated in the design, showcasing its strong technical characteristics and artistic skill.
