Ryft: A Game-Changing Brand in Big Data Technology

Creative Tonic's Unique Photorealistic Branding Approach

Renowned design team Creative Tonic has developed a unique brand design for Ryft, a game-changer in the big data technology industry. The design, inspired by Ryft's paradigm-breaking position, stands out in an industry dominated by bright colors and iconography with its black and white photorealistic brand.

The Ryft brand design is a visual interpretation of how Ryft One processes massive amounts of seemingly meaningless data, compiles, and analyzes it into a cohesive and valuable story. This conceptual approach is unique within the big data market and sets the stage for Ryft to be the game changer. The brand's unique properties are a reflection of its innovative nature and its ability to stand out in a cluttered marketplace.

The central image of the horse, a composition of hundreds of license-free stock images, is a testament to the brand's unique realization technology. These images were crafted together and composed to create a cohesive visual narrative that mirrors the action of the technology system. The Ryft language and visuals perform because they represent a strong conceptual connection to what the product does and are inherently unique in a cluttered marketplace.

The Ryft brand creation and development occurred over the course of twelve weeks in Austin, Texas. The Creative Tonic team worked hand-in-hand with the Ryft team to create a brand and strong visual that supported the core tenants of the brand and also explained visually the power of the Ryft ONE product. The project involved extensive research, including interviews with Ryft's stakeholders and persona research to better understand the target audience's needs and frustrations.

The challenge with the Ryft branding was aligning on a visual direction that communicates the innovative nature of the product quickly and simply while also being so unique in a cluttered marketplace that it immediately grabs attention and notice. The Ryft brand and visual language is a conceptual interpretation of how the company’s cutting-edge big data processing solutions allow businesses to harness actionable intelligence from complex data.

This Design was awarded Golden in A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award in 2016. The award is granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom. The Ryft brand, with its striking black and white photo-realistic style and bold tone, reflects the innovation behind their technology and positions the brand as the gateway to new levels of processing performance.
