An Ingenious Residence Designed by Ding-Rui Tai

In this case, there is a 270 degrees window view. The lighting of the large scope increases the sense of penetration. The design focuses on the retention of the natural beauty without being hidden from the view and we apply to the concrete stone material to give a stable central point to the space to avoid the emptiness with the expectation that life also has stability.

The Close Landscape residential house, designed by Ding-Rui Tai, is a masterpiece that seamlessly blends nature and architecture. With its ingenious design and breathtaking views of the mountains and ocean, this residence offers a unique living experience.

Located in Tamsui, Taiwan, the Close Landscape residence takes full advantage of its natural surroundings. The design philosophy behind this project was to reduce interference with nature and create a space that harmoniously integrates with the environment. The large windows provide a 270-degree view, allowing the beauty of the outdoors to be fully appreciated from within the house.

The use of concrete stone material in the design gives the space a stable central point, avoiding any sense of emptiness. The lighting design enhances the sense of penetration, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The result is a space that not only offers stunning views but also provides physical and psychological comfort.

The interior of the Close Landscape residence is designed with both public and private spaces in mind. The gallery route in the middle divides the space into two separate but connected areas. The public space features a stable stone wall, expansive views, and ample lighting, creating a welcoming environment for socializing and relaxation. The personal space offers privacy and tranquility, allowing for moments of solitude and reflection.

Constructed using a combination of wood, marble, iron, stone, glass, plating titanium, stainless steel, and paint, the Close Landscape residence is a testament to the designer's attention to detail and commitment to quality. The project, which started in December 2014 and was completed in June 2015, showcases the designer's ability to create a space that seamlessly integrates with its natural surroundings.

The Close Landscape residence has received numerous accolades, including the Silver A' Design Award in 2016. This prestigious award recognizes the exceptional creativity, technical expertise, and innovation demonstrated by the design. The residence stands as a testament to the designer's ability to create spaces that evoke positive emotions and a sense of wonder.

With its breathtaking views, innovative design, and seamless integration with nature, the Close Landscape residence is a true masterpiece. It offers a comfortable and relaxing living space, allowing residents to escape the stresses of daily life and immerse themselves in the beauty of their surroundings.
