Industrial Rustic Design

The interior of the restaurant is adorned with the color orange, which represents the identity color of Brazilian Carnival. The use of orange highlights throughout the space adds a lively and energetic atmosphere, creating a visual connection to the Brazilian culture.

The design of the Samba Elite Brazilian BBQ Steakhouse is characterized by its bold and ambitious approach. The massive space is filled with industrial-inspired elements and original materials, creating a unique dining experience. The tall ceilings and full-height rear windows allow ample natural daylight to flood the space, illuminating the concrete textured floor.

Various colors, textures, and patterns are incorporated into the design to showcase the aesthetic of Brazilian culture. The ground floor of the restaurant focuses on providing a VIP dining experience, while the upper floor houses a number of VIP karaoke rooms and an elite entertainment club, offering a range of design concepts.

The restaurant features an oval-shaped BBQ preparation showcase in the middle, which serves as a centerpiece and educates customers about the unique BBQ making process of Brazilian cuisine. Different dining zones cater to various occasions, including family dining, couple dining, glass floor pool dining, and private VIP dining.

The Samba Elite Brazilian BBQ Steakhouse project started in June 2015 and was completed in December 2015 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The design team, led by Matthew Lim and Yii Si Lin, faced challenges in recruiting skilled builders and incorporating trendy building materials. To overcome these challenges, they decided to utilize locally sourced and recycled materials, creating light fittings and decorations that added to the industrial rustic aesthetic.

The Samba Elite Brazilian BBQ Steakhouse received the Silver A' Design Award in 2016 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award recognizes the outstanding expertise and innovation demonstrated by the design. The restaurant's strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill create an excellent and immersive dining experience, leaving customers amazed and inspired.
