Introducing an Innovative Fabric for Original Bathrobes

RKF LUXURY LINEN, a renowned French company, is known for its custom-made luxury linen products that are appreciated for their softness. The company's latest offering, TIMELESS, is an innovative fabric developed for its technical advantages, with a unique look that complements its functionality. The inspiration for this fabric came from the desire to create a product that embodied the theme "HoneyMoon in Paris," resulting in a bathrobe that exudes a Parisian girl's look and attitude.

The uniqueness of TIMELESS lies in its eco-friendly nature, high absorption performance, and long lifespan. The fabric, which resembles a honeycomb stitch, is made from two different polyester knitted fabrics fused together by ultrasonic heat. This unique process results in a fabric that is not only absorbent and durable but also fits the body well and is iron-free. The fabric is used to design original bathrobes, including a standout design that resembles a trench-coat.

The creation of TIMELESS involved numerous tests aimed at producing the most absorbent and hard-wearing fabric. The process, which is patent pending, was verified by Intertek laboratories. The fabric was launched in February 2016 at the Professional Beauty fair in London, a leading beauty and spa trade show in Europe.

The research behind TIMELESS focused on designing a fabric that was more absorbent and resistant than existing options. The fabric offers significant advantages for customers, including up to 70% savings on laundry costs compared to a classic Terry, five times more absorption than a classic Terry, and a lifespan 17 times longer than a classic Terry. The fabric's lightness, iron-free advantage, and unique look also allow for the easy design of elegant bathrobes.

The biggest challenge in creating TIMELESS was to go beyond the success of RKF's previous fabric, DreamSoft. The company aimed to create a fabric that not only offered technical advantages but also allowed for the design of unique bathrobes. The trench-coat bathrobe, made from TIMELESS, is the first step in this creative challenge, with plans to design a full collection in the future.

The TIMELESS fabric was awarded the Golden A' Textile, Fabric, Textures, Patterns, and Cloth Design Award in 2016. This prestigious award recognizes marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom.
