Like every piece of the whole Ecodesign Collection by Lessmore, More Desk Plus with living moss is inspired by nature. Its project starts from the wish to give a message of harmony with nature. An harmony wich looks at the well-being sensation that could be enjoyed during our open-air moments and that it could bring to every kind of interior space. Its project developes also the concept of a sustainable and sylish use of different recycled and eco-friendly materials, in addition to the study of sensations given by their association.
More Desk Plus with living moss is an ecodesign table with a cardboard body and lacquered wood finishes. Under a tempered glass top, a moss rug lives with the only humidity of the air. This table strikes for its visual and tactile properties, but most of all for the open-air sensation that it brings to our interior spaces. Every part of MorePlus desk with living moss can be separated for recycling or different disposal, and it is repairable and customizable.
More Plus desk with moss has a body made with cardboard and side lacquered wood finishes. A tempered glass top is sustained by four steel supports. Moss is placed on the upper side of the cardboard body, under the tempered glass top. The dimensions of the table are W mm 2000 x D mm 900 x H mm 710.
The interaction between cardboard and recyclable materials creates a long-lasting sustainable table with peculiar properties such as solidity, functionality, recognizable design, and the unique property to interact with our senses, communicating a natural contemporary mood. The project started in 2014 in Varese, Italy, developing the original project of 'More Desk Plus' with the introduction of living moss under the tempered glass top. Its production has already started.
The challenge of this project was the creation of a surprising, elegant, and essential table with sustainable features. The realization of a green dream that could bring nature into indoor spaces as a message of harmony between man and nature. MorePlus Desk with natural moss is an eco-design table with a cardboard body and wood finishes. Under a tempered glass top, a moss rug lives with the only humidity of the air. Pure lines and the association of different materials are striking features of this stylish table.
