Plain White: Interior Design Of Residence

Unveiling the Beauty of Minimalism

Inspired by the harmony between nature and modern aesthetics, Yi-Cheng Chi of Da Huan Design presents a stunning interior design that captures the essence of simplicity and elegance.

With its black and white building mass and delicate metal grid wall free facade designs, the Plain White residence stands as a testament to modern minimalist style. The architect's use of horizontal and vertical geometrical staggered blocks creates a visually striking exterior, while the large windows allow an abundance of natural light to flood the interior.

One of the standout features of the Plain White residence is the incorporation of floor windows that frame the beauty of the surrounding plantings, seamlessly merging the outdoors with the interior space. Along the staircase, a white tone wall, brown wood cabinets, and a dinette create a sense of warmth and sophistication. The addition of modern style chandeliers and moderate iron pieces adds a touch of contemporary flair.

The rear of the living room boasts ninety-degree two-sided windows, offering breathtaking views of the flora and mountains. The combination of rustic and elegant stone walls, white leather sofas, and seamless stone floors creates a tranquil and refined atmosphere. The clever use of terrace windows above the garage showcases the beautiful Plumeria obtuse trees, while a twisted steel grille design with a white fabric daze pavilion adds a touch of relaxation to the space.

Spanning 400 square meters, the Plain White residence provides ample space for comfortable living. The third to the fifth floor houses the bedrooms, multi-purpose room, and banquet space. The master bedroom, located on the third floor, features a comfortable couch and a 45-degree angle mosaic tile wall, creating a unique and inviting ambiance. The balcony, adorned with shrubs, serves as a transition space between the bedroom and bathroom, offering a serene and simple connection to nature.

Completed in December 2015 in Taichung City, Taiwan, the Plain White residence is a testament to the power of minimalist design. Its seamless integration of nature, modern aesthetics, and functionality creates a space that is both visually stunning and practical for everyday living.

The Plain White residence by Yi-Cheng Chi of Da Huan Design is a true masterpiece, showcasing the beauty of minimalism and the harmony between architecture and nature.
