Designing the Future of Information Exchange

Breaking away from the traditional quadrilateral framework, the design greets visitors with an oval-shaped entrance that follows the natural lines of the human body. Looking up, the display surface forms an arc that aligns with the visual lines of the visitors. The central area is guided by a path of blue light, creating a perfect round shape that echoes the circular ceiling structure. This design allows the space to distribute information in all directions, providing an extravagant visual experience.

The design incorporates a large-scale display wall that corresponds to the advanced technology of the ceiling. This practical and interactive feature displays real-time stock market information, combining functionality with design and international appeal.

Spanning across 240 square meters, this design showcases the power of Taipei as a global landmark. It not only presents the latest and most timely international information but also creates an avant-garde and interactive space that engages users in a multi-functional dialogue.

From basic guidance and real-time stock market information to product releases and large-scale meetings, this design offers flexibility to cater to different purposes and interactive needs. It transforms the space from a simple static display area into a dynamic and versatile environment.

The project was completed in November 2014 in Taipei City, Taiwan. The design team, led by Ho Chyi Co. Decoration, overcame challenges such as creating a movable seating area that could be easily rearranged to accommodate various space requirements. The final result is a perfect circular interactive structure that complements the circular ceiling design and allows for effective use of the space.

This design received the Bronze A' Design Award in 2017 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. The award recognizes outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that incorporate best practices in art, science, design, and technology. It showcases strong technical and creative skills while contributing to improvements in quality of life.
