The design material used for Tangram is plant fiber paper, an environmentally friendly choice that further strengthens the design's commitment to sustainability. The user-friendly design allows consumers to tear the package into two parts along the diagonal line, using one part and carrying off or leaving the other for future use.

The dimensions of the Tangram sugar package are Width 60mm x Depth 5mm x Height 60mm. The design tags associated with this innovative product include environmental protection, half sugar, triangle, economize, and tangram, all of which aptly describe the essence of this design.

The design project started in October 2016 in ShenYang and was completed in February 2017. The underlying research for this design was focused on environmental protection and economy. The designers noticed that many people do not use sugar completely, leading to unnecessary waste. This observation led to the creation of Tangram, a solution to this widespread problem.

One of the main challenges faced during the design process was finding a reasonable way to divide the package into two parts. The designers wanted to ensure that consumers could use either the whole parcel of sugar or half a parcel of it, depending on their needs. This challenge was successfully overcome, resulting in the innovative and practical Tangram design.

The Tangram design was awarded Silver in A' Sustainable Products, Projects and Green Design Award in 2017. This prestigious award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation.
