The Lorea Ring: A Testament to Growth and Endurance

The Lorea Ring, crafted from 18K white gold and adorned with three square diamonds of varying sizes, is a striking piece of jewelry. The diamonds, positioned as if reaching for sunlight, symbolize a relentless will to grow. This design choice reflects the designers' inspiration drawn from nature and their interpretation of an ever-evolving organism. The ring's open-ended design further reinforces this concept, symbolizing a relationship between lovers that continues to flourish and endure.

The ring's unique properties lie in its light yet imposing design. The three diamonds, each different in size, are the main elements of the jewelry. The composition was created to give an impression of constant growth, resulting in a dynamic interplay of curves. The square cut diamonds, paired with the polished white gold surface, lend a modern elegance to the ring that appeals to its target audience.

The Lorea Ring was manually produced using a metal forging process. One of the biggest challenges in its creation was maintaining a perfect balance within the dynamic curves while keeping the ring light and smooth. The designers' ability to overcome this challenge is a testament to their skill and creativity.

The project began in November 2014 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and it took approximately two weeks from the initial prototypes to the final piece. The ring is delivered in a typical B&M handmade wooden box, further enhancing the overall experience of owning this unique piece of jewelry.

The Lorea Ring has been recognized for its design excellence, winning the Golden A' Jewelry, Eyewear, and Watch Design Award in 2017. This prestigious award is granted to outstanding creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
