Isagenix APAC Business Centre: A Harmonious Blend of Nature and Innovation

Pearly Teh's Award-Winning Interior Design Reflects a Dynamic, Multi-Solution Company

The inspiration behind this design was the desire to create a comfortable and energy-efficient meeting place that imitates the beauty of nature. The use of natural sunlight, combined with energy-saving LED lighting, significantly reduces energy consumption and lighting heat. A vertical garden, built with modular plant pods, enhances the aesthetic appeal of the business centre, reduces stress, and nourishes the atmosphere.

What sets this design apart is its reflection of a fun, young, dynamic, and multi-solution company. The structural glass panel façade allows an abundance of natural sunlight to illuminate the vibrant interior, particularly the living green wall. This design element blends in with the external park and water features, creating a harmonious balance between the indoor and outdoor environments.

The design was realized using a variety of materials and technologies, including timber, LED lighting, wood laminate, vinyl flooring, and live plants for the vertical garden. The total area of the business centre is 432 sqm, providing ample space for business associates to interact in an informal and stress-free environment.

The project started in mid-November 2016 and was completed by mid-December 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The design direction was to integrate the internal with the external environment, which was achieved by softening the general atmosphere in the business centre with natural lighting and a live vertical garden. The vibrant colours used in the interior represent the fun, young, dynamic, and multi-solution company.

One of the main challenges faced during the design process was the one-month timeline for design and construction. Despite this, the design successfully reflects the company's ethos, set among high-rise office towers and a 6-acre award-winning central park. The combination of sunlight with energy-saving LED lighting results in outstanding colour reproduction and a more layered design.

In conclusion, Pearly Teh's design for the Isagenix APAC Business Centre is a remarkable example of innovative interior design that harmoniously blends nature and technology. The design's recognition with the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2017 is a testament to its excellence and innovation.
