Instant noodle packing box

This instant noodle packaging box design is different from a normal packaging. When not in use, it can be folded into a smaller size, but when it is being used, it expands to a larger volume. Additionally, the design allows customers to hold the lids while preparing the fork, keeping them clean. Expanding the size of the bowl also enhances the user's sense of comfort, providing a better overall experience.

The box is made from degradable and recyclable paper, making it environmentally friendly. Its specifications include a height of 96 mm, bottom diameter of 110 mm, combined volume of 950 ml, expansion height of 86 mm, rim of a bowl diameter of 193 mm, and a volume of 1382 ml.

To use the packaging, simply open it and pour water inside. Place the fork in the designated position, fixing the lid to prevent it from opening. Finally, take out the fork and pull down the middle part to make it usable.

The project started in June 2016 at LuXun Academy of Fine Arts and was completed in August 2016. The design was based on research conducted on packaging design and the sublimation of comfort in using products. Market research was also conducted to understand consumer preferences. The innovative structure of the design sets it apart.

This innovative packaging design focuses on enhancing the consumer's experience. By expanding the size of the instant noodle box, it allows for a more enjoyable dining experience. The extended lid also enables the fork to hold the lid, keeping it clean. The design was created with the consumer's perspective in mind.
