The Easy-tear tape project was a collaborative effort by a team of talented individuals, including Cao Weizhi, Sun Yuchen, Kang Yixin, and Lu Yi. The project started in February 2017 in Shenyang and was completed in March 2017. Throughout the design process, the team faced challenges in ensuring the tape's strong adhesion while maintaining its convenience and usability. Their dedication and innovative thinking resulted in the creation of Easy-tear tape.

Recognized for its excellence, Easy-tear tape was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2017 in the category of Sustainable Products, Projects, and Green Design.
