The Snow White collection is a unique jewelry line that draws its inspiration from nature. Kay Jiaqi Zhou, the designer behind this innovative collection, has chosen to work with porcelain clay, a material with a rich history spanning over a thousand years. The floral theme, a timeless symbol of femininity, adds a touch of elegance to the collection. The integration of porcelain into fashion jewelry is a rare sight, making this collection a unique exploration of possibilities.

The collection stands out not for its use of precious stones, but for its celebration of earthy materials. Each piece of jewelry undergoes a laborious process of design, experimentation, handcrafting, high-temperature firing, and assembly before it is finally shaped into delicate porcelain jewelry. The collection includes a variety of pieces, such as the Plum Blossom Cluster Necklace, Plum Blossom Ring, Snowdrop Tassel Earrings, Daisy Stud Earrings, and Plum Blossom Statement Ring.

Every piece of porcelain in the collection has undergone two kiln firings, each lasting over 15 hours with temperatures reaching over 1200 degrees Celsius. The making process also includes sketching, crafting, cooling, polishing, and assembling. All of these steps are performed by hand, ensuring that each piece is unique in shape and no two are exactly alike.

The Snow White collection is not only aesthetically pleasing but also carefully designed for ease of use. The necklace, made of 33 pieces of porcelain plum blossom flowers, features a lobster clasp opening. The rings are adjustable, and the earrings are designed for pierced ears. The clear and delicate sound of porcelain can be heard when handling the jewelry, adding an extra layer of sensory experience to wearing these pieces.

The project, which started in August 2016 in Kolding, Denmark, and finished in May 2017 in Copenhagen, involved extensive research. This included studying women's fashion trends, fashion jewelry and fine jewelry trends, luxury fashion marketing, fashion consumer behavior, and porcelain making technology. The result is a collection that beautifully merges fashion, jewelry, and porcelain.

The Snow White collection has been recognized for its innovative design and exceptional craftsmanship, winning the Golden A' Jewelry, Eyewear, and Watch Design Award in 2018. This prestigious award is granted to outstanding creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
