The FANTONI project is located on the top floor of a building, offering the unique opportunity to utilize both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The proximity of the building to urban spaces ensures an unobstructed view of the cityscape, a feature that the designers have cleverly incorporated into the design. The interior space extends to the exterior, creating a harmonious blend and maximizing the potential of the architecture.
The design's unique properties lie in the quality of the indoor and outdoor spaces, which are intertwined to enhance the overall experience. The designers have achieved this by extending the users' line of sight to the roof, virtually placing them outdoors. The idea is further emphasized by extending the users' desks outdoors and defining the level of green space equal to the users' line of sight.
The project covers an area of 170 sq.m indoors and 150 sq.m outdoors. The design team, led by Samaneh Ghasempour and Amir Ghasempour, has meticulously planned every detail of the project, from the construction management to the lighting and furniture selection. The team's focus on quality and productivity is evident in the design's functionality and interaction.
The project started in November 2016 and was completed in February 2017. The designers' notes reveal a practical approach to the design, with a focus on abstraction and minimalism. The aim was to create a transparent space with extensive panorama windows and to expand the interior functions to the exterior by designing and developing the roof as a terrace. The design defines frames and separates functions, with volumetric frames containing intermediary spaces like corridors and waiting rooms.
The FANTONI project is a testament to the designers' creativity and innovation, earning them the Golden A' Design Award. This award is granted to outstanding and trendsetting creations that reflect the designers' prodigy and wisdom, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics. The FANTONI project is a shining example of this, showcasing the designers' ability to create a unique and functional office space that enhances productivity and quality of work.
