The office interior design in Kaohsiung City, created by Pei-Ching Su and Tsai-Ying Wu, stands out with its unique concept and attention to detail. The designers took into consideration the hot climate of Southern Taiwan and focused on creating a space that prioritizes ventilation.
The architecture-oriented concept of the design delineates the spaces for different floors, creating a sense of hierarchy and purpose. The use of blocks and penetration fills the space with multiple styles and relationships, giving it a distinctive and stylish look.
The 200 square meter space is designed to maximize interaction with the outdoor environment. The 12-meter-width sidewall, adjacent to a school, connects the front entrance and office. The design plan emphasizes the importance of the outdoor environment, with the heights of the sidewalk walls and entrance door being equal. Visitors have to pass through an intermediate space before reaching the meeting area, creating a sense of transition and connection.
The recessed indoor space allows for the creation of a courtyard landscaping area, with a pool within the indoor eyesight scope. This integration of nature into the indoor space enhances the overall atmosphere and aesthetic relationship between the exterior and interior.
The boundaries among the indoor spaces are overlaying, allowing for abundant sunlight and air circulation throughout the working area and executive office. The meeting tables and book walls are conveniently accessible for client reception or meetings. Large glass curtains connect the indoor space with the outdoor environment, creating an energetic and inspiring working environment.
The project was completed in July 2017 in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. Throughout the design process, the designers focused on implementing the ideas of green building, energy saving, and carbon reduction. The result is a space that not only meets professional and industrial requirements but also provides a comforting and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.
This unique office interior design in Kaohsiung City has been recognized for its excellence. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2018 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The design is respected for its integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world.
